Scott & Andrew Mears were involved in
an off road accident in California on Dec 23rd.
Both sustained very serious injuries which required them to be air lifted from
the dunes to St Joes Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.
Scott is a huge part of the off road and UTV industry. Through his company XMF (www.XtremeMF.com
// Xtreme Machine & Fabrication), and his loyal help and support to the racers
and fellow off road enthusiasts. Scott has been with me, personally, at a number
of races, always making sure the car is right and the suspension is right.
Swapping axles and CVs, changing tires, doing ANYTHING and EVERYTHING he can.
The guy is by far one of the best people to have in your pit, but even better as
a friend by my side. I am sure there are so many more of these stories as I am
not the only one. I deal with Kiwee (his wife) on a daily basis and I cannot
believe the hardship this must bring on her and their other children. This tragic accident has been rough for every one in the
Mears family, all we can do is hope and pray for speedy and healthy recovery for
both Scott and Andrew.
